Terms of
service.

The agreement between you and Your Offsider. We've written it the way we'd want to read it — short, specific, and without lawyer theatre.

1. The deal

You sign up. We answer your phone with an AI receptionist trained on your services. You pay monthly. Either of us can end it any time. That's the spirit.

2. Who we are

Your Offsider is operated by Kaizen ICT Pty Ltd, an Australian company based in Adelaide, SA. These terms are a contract between you (the customer) and us.

3. The 30-day free trial

4. Subscription & pricing

5. Cancelling

Cancel from your dashboard or by emailing hello@youroffsider.ai. Your service runs to the end of the current billing period. We don't pro-rate refunds for partial months, but if something's gone wrong, talk to us — we'd rather refund than have you grumpy.

6. What you're responsible for

7. What we're responsible for

8. AI mistakes

The AI is good but it's not infallible. It will occasionally misunderstand, mishear, or capture a wrong digit in a phone number. We work hard to keep that rate low and we capture a recording of every call so you can verify. You agree to review captured jobs before relying on them for irreversible action (like driving 90km to a wrong address). We're not liable for losses caused by AI errors when a quick review would have caught them.

9. Caller consent & recording

Your AI's first sentence discloses that the call is recorded and handled by an automated assistant. This satisfies the most stringent Australian state recording laws. You agree not to disable or alter that disclosure.

10. Liability

Australian Consumer Law gives you certain non-excludable rights — those always apply. Beyond that, our maximum liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid us in that period. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost jobs you would have got anyway, hurt feelings, missed cricket).

11. Suspension & termination

We can suspend the service if you don't pay (we'll email you first), if you break these terms in a serious way, or if your usage is putting other customers at risk. We'll always tell you why and give you a chance to fix it where the law lets us.

12. Changes to these terms

We'll email you and post a notice if we make material changes. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms. If you don't, cancel and we'll refund any unused prepaid time.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia. Any disputes go to the courts of South Australia. We'll always try to sort it out by email first.
